CUCC 2026: ORGANIZATION PHASE LAUNCHED FOR THE 19TH CIMIC UNITS COMMANDERS’ CONFERENCE

The Multinational CIMIC Group has officially launched the organizational pathway for CUCC 2026, a key professional forum for CIMIC unit commanders and relevant stakeholders.

The 2026 edition will be developed around the theme: “Enhancing CIMIC at the speed of relevance: Cognitive Dilemmas, AI tools and Civil environment Analysis & Assessment for Deterrence & Defense Readiness.” 

The preparatory pathway will address core operational priorities for the CIMIC community: decision-making in complex environments, AI-enabled support tools, civil environment analysis and assessment, and strengthened interoperability in support of deterrence and defence readiness.

Among this year’s innovations, a dedicated NCO-focused engagement moment is included to expand practical dialogue and reinforce vertical integration within the CIMIC community. CUCC 2026 builds on a continuity framework that connects operational lessons, multinational training and technical alignment toward shared readiness outcomes.
